TAUT - Remember Me - Part 2

It's finally here! After neglecting it, it's finally here!!:)

Dmitri opened a book in her car and started to read, but her ideas and thoughts of home kept sliding back into her head.

Dmitri thought about Nora, her little sister, and her mom, who lost her husband. Allen, who was Dmitri's father, had gone to war for America against Germany, when, a few months later, he got shot. Allen didn't survive.

Dmitri looked away from her book, how was her mother feeling about losing her husband and then her daughter?

Dmitri glanced up to the guards that totally surrounded her then back down at the blurry words of her book.

She then realized she was crying.

Dmitri wiped away her tears and erased all thoughts of her family.

"When are we gonna get there?" Dmitri asked the driver.

"It's been a few hours already so about 19 more hours," the driver responded.

"Oh gee," Dmitri mumbled to herself, "I wish Logan, Chris, Hayden, and Daisy were here," Dmitri sighed loudly.

"Why? So you can go run off with them?" A guard eyed her suspiciously.

"No, so I could have some company!" Dmitri yelled.

A guard grabbed a phone and handed it to Dmitri, "you can text one, just stop complaining!"

"Complaining?" Dmitri muttered while fumbling with the cellphone. It just happened to not have a phone part. Wonderful.

Dmitri looked around at the guards and did the math: one was dozing, the other was driving, another reading, and one was staring at her. Could I take them all out? Dmitri thought. She'd have to get her friend's opinions about it, before she tried to contact somebody.

"Oh, I forgot about this!" Nikki grabbed the phone and plugged in a small wire to it.

The black screen lit up to show a bigger version of Dmitri's phone. Dmitri hit the letter "e" and it immediately popped up on the screen. Dmitri gasped.
