Sewing Day!

Hi everyone!
Today I got to sew with my mom and it was really fun! I sewed a white skirt and it turned out really well! We used a pattern we had on hand.;)
Here we have Faye modeling the skirt.:) 

I think it turned out really well for my first actual project. I used a sewing machine and, despite my timidness towards the thing, it wasn't that hard!;) 




It's a really simple skirt so I think it will be interesting to try it out in different kind of outfits!:D

I am excited that I know the basics about sewing machines now!:D Someday, I hope I can make cool things for myself to wear. (Like capes! WHO WANTS TO BRING CAPES BACK INTO STYLE?!?!?! *raises both hands*)

    I like it! It looks kind of like a skater skirt [of which I adore. ;D] LOL, capes? XD I tried sewing once, but ended up throwing what I had made into the trash >_< ;) That's so cool that you can actually sew great doll clothes! ^-^

      LOL! Yeah! It does!:) Yes! Capes are amazing and I so wish they were "normal" to wear!!! Thanks! I think it's cool too!:D

    I need white dresses, white skirts and white shoes for my dolls! They just look so cute! YES! I want a bow cape :)

      Oh, and guess what? My sister just noticed that on the cover of Neverseen, Sophie, Biana and Dex are wearing the Neverseen symbol on their arms! :O

      Cool! AND YES! I NOTICED THAT TOO! Even though I didn't see it on Keefe's arms, so I'm wondering if he's still apart of that... SO WHAT IN THE STINKING WORLD DOES IT MEAN??? THEY JOINED NEVERSEEN? BUT HOW?!?!?!?!?

    Ah, yes... timidity of the sewing machine. We know it well. Just keep practicing, and soon you won't give that terrifying needle a second thought! :)
    Lovely skirt, by the way. That particular style is so versatile! Excellent work. :)

    LOL! I hope so!;) My mom helped shed some light on the situation by saying that it was going to be staying in one place and wouldn't hope around the fabric and get me!;) Thank you for the kind words!:D
