Summer Has Come - A Photoshoot

Hi everyone!
Here where I live, the thermometer (ha, who uses one of those anymore? I mean weather app) reads 104 degrees. So, summer has officially gotten here.
I hate it. O.o

But I went out a couple of days ago and got some really cute pictures of Isabelle, trying a new technique out with my reflector. I haven't mastered it yet, but I definitely have a feeling it will help improve my pictures during the afternoon with a bit of practice!! :D

^ I love this picture!! Doesn't Isabelle look adorable in the skater outfit? :D ^

***
I hope you enjoyed the pictures! Since it is so hot today, Faye is inspired to make a summer-y post. So hopefully she'll finish that in the next few days for you guys. ;) If not, I have another photoshoot of Sophie. Cuz you know Faye...she can procrastinate... XD

What's your favorite thing about the summer? I like the beach...;)

A Christmas Misunderstanding - A Photostory

Hello
Greetings
Welcome
Hi
Hiya
IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS, SO MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I cannot believe that it's Christmas Eve Eve. I'm mentally still stuck in November, maybe October, possibly even September... O.O
But anyway, I'm sorry I never posted last week, things got in the way- tis the season. XD

Isabelle and Cecile sat around the living room, talking and chatting about whatever crossed their minds. Christmas was only a couple days away, and it was rumored they were supposed to decorate soon.
Molly trotted into the living room, a smile on her lips.
"Guess what, guys?" she asked in a sing songy voice.
"What?"
"I just heard Emma saying that she got us a new tree this year! I wonder what it's gonna be," Molly exclaimed, walking closer.
"Cool!" the girls cried. "I wonder if it'll be green!"
"I wonder if it'll have colored lights?"
They continued to talk about the possibilities, until Emma came by and dropped a plastic bag in the room. She left without a word, because she was on the phone FaceTiming Jaclynn.
The girls stared at the bag, the moment stretching out. Finally, Molly leaped into action and tore at the bag.
She pulled down the bag, snatched the tree and set it in the middle of the room.
They stared at it, unmoving.
"It's white," Cecile murmured.
"It's already decorated," Isabelle said.
"It's plastic!" Molly shouted. An air of distain and disappointment settled in the air as they looked at the tree.
"What is that?" Nikki asked, coming into the room. Molly explained the situation and their new tree.
"This is awful! This tree isn't even supposed to be decorated! It's atrocious!" she ranted. The girls all nodded in agreement.
"We need to do something to show how much this is unacceptable," Nikki said, and the girls came closer, circling the tree.
"Like?" Isabelle asked.
Nikki grabbed Emma's trash can and hoisted the tree into it. The girls all watched nervously.
"This! It'll show how we feel about it! We want our pink tree back!" Nikki answered. Glitter was spread all over the place, including herself, so Nikki dusted herself off.
Jess burst into the living room, her face showing her shock.
"What are you guys doing?" she asked.
"We are making a statement," Molly replied, squaring her shoulders.
"What kind of statement are you making by throwing away Emma's new room decoration?" Jess questioned.
"Room...decoration...?" Cecile chimed in.
"Yes! This isn't our Christmas tree, if that's what you thought."
The girls laughed awkwardly. "Oh..."
"This is our tree," Jess continued, and Adam stumbled in, carrying the large Christmas tree box.
The girls all cheered and drew the white tree from the trash can. They set it back on its stand, then grabbed their Christmas tree from the box.
They put it in its normal place, Jess shaking her head at them. The four girls immediately went to work. Christmas was coming and they had a house to decorate!

I hope you liked the photostory! And I hope you have a great Christmas, see you next week!:D

TAUT - Through Fire - Part Four

EEK! YAYY! It's finally here! I'm so happy!XD
Here is the link to the last part in case you need a refresher- LINKEDY LINK LINK.
"No! We have to get to safety!" Chris cried, her eyes showing her desperation.
"Are we just going to keep wandering aimlessly?" Dmitri asked. Chris's eyes glistened, she couldn't tell if it was the smoke or emotion.
"Guys!" Logan appeared on the path. He ran to them.
"Logan!" Chris cried out. "Oh my gosh, I was so worried!"
"I finally found you! Follow me, I found something else while trying to find you," Logan split away from them again, and they ran after him. They came to a small cave, and they hesitated.
"Get in," he instructed.
"What is this cave coated in?" Dmitri asked and touched the oddly stiff goo. Logan shrugged.
"I don't know, but it doesn't burn. I think it's some sort of natural fire repellent," he offered. Dmitri and Chris ducked into the cave.
"We'll stay here until somebody finds us," Dmitri decided and sat down.
She grabbed the spray from her back pack, pushing her tangled hair out of her face. "I guess this is toxic to humans."
Logan and Chris nodded.
"It could be, I'm just glad that we all survived. I don't know how long we were out, but a tree could have fallen on us...or worse." Logan and Chris cringed. Dmitri frowned and leaned back against the cave wall.
Logan snatched her phone out of her backpack.
"Let's find some signal," he said and tinkered with some of the buttons.
Dmitri sighed. "I've already checked, there wasn't anything." Logan tapped more buttons.
"I can't get any signal either." He let the phone drop.
Chris reached out and took the phone from him.
"Give it to the master," she said and after a few minutes, turned it back to the others. "I got a signal!"
"How did you do that?" Logan asked, astonished. She shrugged and handed the phone to Dmitri, but her face showed her pride.
"This is great!" Dmitri dialed Sara and put the phone on speaker.
Ring! Ring!
The trio heard a click and Sara's voice came on.
"Dmitri! Where are you? Are you okay? We're looking all over for you, tell us where you are!" Sara cried.
"We're in this cave. I'm not sure where we are. There are a ton of burning trees and flames and smoke..." Dmitri trailed off.
"Just- try to get somewhere high up so we can see you," she instructed.
"Okay." Dmitri hung up and walked out of the cave.
She grabbed the rocks and hauled herself up onto the top of the cave. She climbed up a few more rocks and peered up at the gray sky. Dmitri kept watch as the heat distorted the sky. Sweat dripped into her squinted eyes. She dropped her head and coughed.
"We need some sort of flag," Dmitri yelled.
"Everything is burning, it's no use," Chris replied with a sigh.
Dmitri frowned. "I'll use my vest. Maybe they'll see the movement and come find us." She tore off her vest and began waving it around.
"Might as well," Chris said.
She shook the vest wildly, trying to attract some attention.
After a while, she set her vest on the cave and tried to catch her breath. The smoke made it hard to breathe, and she felt slightly dizzy.
She swiped a finger through the brown goop and an idea popped into her head. She took out a bottle from her back pack and began to fill the bottle up with the goop.
"When Sara gets here they can make more of this and stop the fire," she said to herself.
She screwed the cap onto the bottle when the faint sound of helicopter blades cut through the crackling fire. She turned her face to the smoke filled sky, and a smile broke out on her grimy face.
"You guys, we're saved!"

As I took these pictures, I took one picture then my phone said I didn't have any space! That was so frustrating, I had to delete pictures I wanted to keep. Bleah!;P But it's okay now, I'm just so happy I have the next part up! Now I can take the rest of the pictures at home, so I hope to get a part up at least once a week!:)

The Dancer - A Photoshoot

Hi everyone!
Yesterday, I realized that it has been, again, a month or more since I have posted TAUT and before you all freak out- I want to say that I am really, really sorry! I just have not had the time to go to the park and take pictures! I want to get the next part up as soon as possible and I have not forgotten about it. So please just bear with me! LOL!

I took these pictures of Isabelle yesterday and thought she just looked so cute. She is in the same outfit as she was from my most recent photostory, but I thought it looked very "Isabelle" and dancer-y.;)

I love this picture!:)

I hope you liked the photos!
My shoot was turning out pretty boring, but when I tried some different angles, it got better! If your pictures are bland, I would recommend trying some new angles or locations.:D That's just a random tip for today.;P

Leah's Birthday Dilemma - A Photostory

Hey everyone!:)
I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much as I should be! GAH! It's just hard to sometimes feel motivated.;)
I will be posting the Hit or Miss results tomorrow and if you haven't voted yet, hurry and do so!
Also, I HAVE FORTY-NINE FOLLOWERS! That is so close to fifty, my big goal for this year! I really want to do something special for that celebratory occasion, so when I hit fifty, I'll have to choose something!:D
Now here is my most recent photostory for all of y'all!:D
I'll let Leah take over from here...
I walked through the house, trying to figure out something to do when I was bored. I couldn't go hiking, walking, to the zoo-
"Hey, Leah!" Jess broke into my train of thought and I looked up with a smile on my face.
"Hi," I greeted. I noted the box in her hands. What could that be?
"I thought I would remind you that it's Faye's birthday today and we're celebrating tonight. Do you have anything to give her?"
The smile on my face dropped.
"Um..."
Gosh, I felt awful. Forgetting your sister's birthday and being the newest girl in the house? Embarrassing. Terrible. Ugh.
"I didn't know," I said.
"Great!" Jess cried, then laughed at herself. "Not great that you forgot, but great that I got an extra thing when I went shopping for her birthday. It's a Disney tsum tsum of one of her favorite characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You can pay me back later."
She scooted closer, pushing the tsum at me, her eyes darting around in search for Faye. I did a quick analysis of the situation and my new family. Everyone was artistic in some way and every girl was thoughtful. All of my sisters would be putting a ton of thought and care into their present for Faye. I couldn't be the only girl who gave her something store bought. Forget something that was just handed to me!
"Sorry, Jess. I have something different in mind," I replied and shoved the tsum away.
"Oh, okay. That's fine," Jess said. I paused.
"Aren't Faye and Hailey twins?" I asked, furrowing my brows. Jess nodded. "Then it's Hailey's birthday, too."
Jess tittered. "No... Faye wanted her own birthday this year. Apart from Hailey. So, she's declaring it's today. That's why I wasn't surprised that you didn't know." Jess winked and left. I snorted. That sounded like Faye.
Pulling out my phone, I scrolled Amazon for something Faye might like. A legitimate lightsaber with LED lights caught my eye. Then the price did. I gasped, almost dropping my phone.
"One hundred and fifty-eight dollars?" I shrieked as I closed the app in a hurry. There was no way I had that much money. I put my phone away. Lightsaber or not, I was determined to get Faye an amazing gift with lots and lots of thought. Just like what all of the other girls would be doing.
I strolled to the kitchen where Eden was putting away her things.
"What are you doing?" I asked her.
"Oh, I made Star Wars inspired cupcakes for Faye's birthday party tonight. She is going to love them!"
"Do you want my help?" I questioned, eager to join in on something that Faye would be majorly excited about.
Eden jumped up, her eyes wide. "Your help...baking?"
A memory flashed across my mind as the smell of smoke and charred cookies burned my nostrils again. I cringed. Maybe baking wasn't the best thing for me to do.
I laughed nervously. "Never mind."
I pulled away from Eden as she went back to work. What could I possibly do? I thought to myself.
Isabelle and Caroline sat in the living room together, talking in hushed tones. I perked up at the sight of them. Whatever it was, it looked like it was for Faye's birthday and didn't require preheating an oven.
"Hey, girls!" I cried. "What are you two up to?" I glanced down at Caroline's note pad.
"We're writing a fan fiction script for Episode VIII with everything Faye wants in the eighth movie: more Kylo Ren, a Luke and Leia reunion, BB-8 being super adorable...the basics," Caroline explained. She was obviously giddy over writing such an exciting story.
"Saige is even going to make a cover for the 'book'!" Isabelle added.
"I could help!" I exclaimed. An awkward silence followed. "Um. So who's Kylo Ren?"
"You should probably sit this one out, Leah," Isabelle said, her voice quiet and soft.
"Oh, okay. No problem," I backed away, feeling embarrassed.
I slunk to the ground with a sigh. It was hopeless. I just wasn't creative like all of my siblings. I checked the time. Only an hour until Faye's party and I had as much as I had started out with. Faye would hate me for sure.
The hour flew by and one hastily thrown together card later, I was as ready as I would ever be for the party.
Guilt weighed on me as I looked at the pile of awesome presents at Faye's side. Eden passed out her cupcakes, which were fabulous. It was definitely a good thing I stayed out of that, I decided.
Faye began the present opening and she picked up a skateboard.
"RAD!" she shouted, her face lighting up. "Thanks, Adam!" We looked around for Adam, but he was nowhere to be seen. Weird...
The presents whizzed by, each one amazing and totally thoughtful. Each one Faye burst out with a huge thank you and a beaming smile. The presents ended and Faye was about to get up when I walked to her, handing her my boring card.
She took it from me with a smile and read it.
She kept her same smile on, but there was no enthusiastic reaction, not that I expected one. She closed the card, said thank you, and I slipped away. Written across my face was shame and embarrassment. I couldn't believe that that awful card was the best I could do for Faye's first birthday with me there. Ugh, ugh, ugh!
Jess discreetly came to me and slipped me the Obi-Wan tsum. I sighed, taking it away from her. I gave her a weak smile and took it to Faye. I guess it was better than just a card. Right?

"There's also this," I muttered as I held out the tsum. Faye's eyes widened, her hands reaching out to take it from me. I stared at her, waiting for a reaction.
Faye oggled at the tsum, unable to take her eyes away from it. I braced myself for another awkward thank you when Faye squealed so high pitched that I was sure my ear drum shattered.
She leaped up, squeezing the tsum with all of her might.
"OBI-WAN!" she screamed. I gasped. She loved it!
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Faye careened to me, wrapping me up in the most powerful hug I had ever experienced. I almost fell down.
She pulled away from me as she retightened her hold on her tsum, stroking his fluffy hair.
"Obi-Wan! Obi-Wan! Obi-Wan!" she continued and I stared, dazed at her. How was it that she loved him so much, when I was sure she wouldn't like it at all?
I smiled as I watched her pet him.
I guess sometimes life surprises you. I grinned. It was a very, very good thing I didn't meddle with the cupcakes.

I hope you liked the story!:) I had fun making it!;)
