Truly Me #47 Review

Hi everyone!:)
I thought it would be fun to do a review on my doll, Emerson, also TM #47.:)
Let's get started!
A full look at 47.:)
Let's start with her face. She has a dark skin, the Sonali face mold, feathered eyebrows, and dark brown eyes. Her skin color has a nice warm tone to it, which I really like.:)
She has a pretty big nose and her lips remind me of Julie/Josefina's lips, they might be the same mold.;)
Now for her hair, it's pretty long. It comes to her waist or so, is layered, and is stick straight. The color of her hair isn't so much black as it is a dark brown...
It's really pretty and very soft.:)
Since it is layered and really straight, you can't really do too much to her hair, but you can clip back pieces and can put it in a low ponytail.:)
Her part is on the right side of her head. Although I love her hair and it's very manageable, I can see that fly aways could definitely be a problem in the future.
TM #47 comes in a light purple dress. I like the dress, but I don't know, I just am not a huge fan.
On the neckline is a netting fabric (I don't know what to call it.;D) and sewn on sequins. On the left side of the dress is an embroidered trio of blue stars, which I think AG could have left out.
There is a sparkly gray knit sash sewn onto the dress, so you can't take it off.;)
Just like the neckline, there is net lining and sequins.
The dress length is higher up than just above the knee.
The flats that they come with are so adorable, I love them! They are aqua blue and have sparkly silver dots on them. If they were painted on, then AG glossed over them so they won't come off.:)
The sleeves are 3/4 length.:)
So all in all, I love TM #47, she is a gorgeous doll and I highly recommend her! I think she would be great for children, since her hair isn't hard to manage.:) I rate her 4.5 stars out of 5, just because I wish I could do more with her hair.;)

Now here are some more pictures I took-

I hope you enjoyed the review.:) Who is the next doll you want to get?:D Personally, I am not sure who I want next... I am debating between #61 and #55...Hmm...;) Do you have any special review requests?:)

Sparkle Sweater Outfit Review

Hi everyone!
I am here with a review on the Sparkle Sweater Outfit from American Girl! I have Caroline modeling it.:)
Now, let's get on to the review!
Here is the full, head-to-toe body picture. The outfit comes with a light pink sweater, a skirt, and a pair of combat boots.
The sweater is probably my favorite part of the set. It is light pink, with silver sparkly thread woven into it. The sweater has full length sleeves that are easy to push up for a cooler look.:)
On the right bottom hand corner of the sweater, is a silver American Girl tag sewn onto it.
A look at the neckline.
The Velcro velcros all of the way to the bottom so that you don't have to pull the sweater over her head.
The very bottom of the sweater parts as shown in the photo above, which I feel would have been better left out because it looks kind of funny.
The sweater would be easily snagged, so I would be careful to keep it away from Velcro.;)
Now to the skirt! The skirt is probably my least favorite piece of the outfit, but it is still cute and good for mix and match. It is bright-ish blue knit skirt, with coral colored stitching.
The pockets aren't sewn shut at the very top, but they don't go down far. The pockets have X shaped stitches on them and the actual stitching for the pockets is blue, which I am just now realizing. Personally, I would have wanted the stitching everywhere to be the same coral color.
Only on the left side, there are six little sparkles below the pocket. These I would have left out, since they don't really go...XD
The bottom stitching is coral colored and goes all of the way around to the back.
There is a coral colored AG tag on the left side of the skirt.
The skirt is really short, a little bit shorter than halfway on the thigh.
The shoes are super cute, I love the color combination of coral and purple.
They are combat boot style.
The coral laces go all around the back-
-which I like, but would have been really cute without. They would have been simpler and easier to get on without them.
All together, I like each piece, but I really don't understand why they put them together! The colors don't match all together, with the light pink, coral, purple, and blue. I just don't understand.
I give the outfit a 3 out of 5 all together, but separately as singular pieces 4.5 out of 5. I like all separate pieces for mix-n-match, but I can't stand it together.XD The quality feels pretty good, my biggest complaint is how it doesn't match all together.
Now, here are some extra photos of Caroline in the outfit.:)

REVIEW - Disney's Rapunzel Classic Doll

Hi everyone!
TOMORROW IS LEA CLARK! I AM SO EXCITED!
Is anyone going to the debut?:D
Clara asked for a review on my Rapunzel Classic Doll a while ago, so here it is.:) Sorry, this is so late!;)
We start with a full look at Rapunzel. Let's start with her hair.:)
She has a side part that isn't completely straight. She has gelled swooping bangs.
Her hair is mostly straight, with a slight wave to it, like the real Rapunzel.:)
Her hair is very fun to style (you can see I braided the two sides.:D) and goes all of the way to her ankles.
It isn't as long as the movie, but it's as long as it is when it's braided in the movie.:) At first I was kind of upset that her hair wasn't dragging on the ground a little, but I realize now that if it was, it would get dirty.;)
Also, she doesn't come with shoes.
Now on to her sweet face.
She has wide circle eyes that are greenish blue. She has gold and pink eyeshadow, with naturally arched eyebrows. She has little dot freckles scattered on her cheeks and light pink lipstick. Her face shape isn't as round as it is in the movie, it's longer, which I think isn't as pretty, but I still like.:)

Now her dress.:)
Her lavender colored satin bodice has a sweetheart neckline with a tiny little pink bow sewn at the point. She has a non-removable corset the same color and material as the rest of her shirt and has light pink laces going down it. She has puffed pink and purple striped sleeves that are sewn onto sheer 3/4 length light pink sleeves.
For her skirt she has glittery dark purple panels with light pink swirly flower appliques on the edges. They go all of the way to the back. The slice in the middle is purple with a swirly flower pattern.:)
A view of the back. The velcro goes only as far as her bodice.
All in all, she's a beautiful doll and I highly recommend her!:D She has great hair for styling and her outfit is very movie accurate.:)
