Eating Healthy - A Photostory

Hi everyone!!

Long time no see. A little while ago I got an idea for a photostory, then yesterday- I ACTUALLY TOOK THE PICTURES FOR IT!

Yay motivation!!

So, let's get started! :D

 

Emerson sat at the table, a thoughtful look on her face. She wrote down a list of accomplishments she was determined to accomplish then stared at the last one.

Get fit.

Em jumped up from her chair.

"I am GOING to get fit! And start now!" she cried. She grinned, feeling good about her lack of procrastination.

"Emmy!" Saige burst into the room, wrapped in a temptingly soft blanket. "I just took the best nap of my life. You need to try this blanket. It. Is. Heaven."
Emerson eyed the blanket. "No. I-I..."

She plopped to the ground. "I am going to work out instead!"

Saige stared blankly.

Emerson's abs burned as she attempted to pull herself up.

"UGGH!!!!"'

 

"Um, um..." She panted for breath. "I think I'll actually just, um, stretch. Yeah."

Reaching for her feet, Emerson felt something in her back pull. She grimaced and stood up.

"You know, I think I'll just eat well today," she said, looking at Saige.

Saige blinked. "Um...okayyyy." She slowly backed away, blanket dragging behind her.

As the day progressed, Emerson's stomach growled. She scoured the kitchen for something healthy. She found a carrot.

Grimacing, she bit the carrot.

Her taste buds rejected it, and her face bunched up.

"ACK!" Everything inside her fought to not spit it out, and she finally managed to swallow it.

The taste still stuck in her mouth, Emerson scowled at the carrot, but not before Cecile bounced up to her. With a grin as large as it could be, Cecile shouted, "Jess just brought home DONUTS!!! And there are donut holes, your favorite, Em!!!"

Emerson stared. "I AM TRYING TO EAT HEALTHY! I CAN'T HAVE DONUTS!"

"Oh..." Cecile whispered, eyes wide. She laughed nervously. "Never mind then..." She turned on her heel and ran out.

Grumbling, Emerson chewed on her carrot.

Four more excruciating hours passed, and Emerson felt like she was nearly ready to explode. Her mind only repeated the phrase, I need sugar. I need sugar.

Molly walked in on Emerson's desperate state, hiding something behind her back.

Emerson propped herself up, and Molly began to speak.

"You wanna see something, Em?"

"Sure," she replied. At least this would be something to do and keep her mind off of the lack of sugar in her system.

Molly brought out a tub of sugar from behind her back. Emerson's mouth watered.

"WATCH ME GUZZLE THIS!!"

"Um-" Emerson began, but was cut off when Molly unscrewed the cap on the sugar container. She brought it to her lips. Emerson watched as she swallowed nearly half the tub of sugar.

Molly dropped the container.

"Are you okay?" Emerson asked. Molly's eye twitched.

"I HEAR COLORS!!!!" She yelled.

A moment later, Molly's face twisted in pain, and she doubled over. "I'm gonna throw up."

She raced out of the room, face green.

"Wow," Emerson said.

Once the Molly issue died down, Emerson went back to being desperate and sad. Then finally, finally, a salad later, the day was over and she had successfully eaten well. Her mind spun with the fact that she still had a long way to go.

Eden walked into the room, a smile on her face.

"Congratulations on eating healthy all day, Em!" she said.

"Thanks!" Emerson replied.

Eden brought something out from behind her.

"To celebrate, I made home-made ice cream!"

Emerson fell to the ground.
"AAAAGHHHHH!!!!"

Thank you for reading! I hope you liked the post! I have been in similar situations like Emerson when I am trying to eat healthy and it is soooo hard. Thankfully, I don't have a ton of sisters being all crazy. ;D

Em's Ideas to Make the Best of the Rest of the Summer

Hello, people of the Internet! It's Emerson, Em (or Emmy), if you'd like.

So. Summer is practically over and school is just around the corner (for some of you, you've already started), and you might be like me, and have a problem on your hands. You've literally done nothing on your summer vacation! 

I wish I could say that my summer was full of adventures and stuff, but- wait, Emma, you said you wouldn't show the picture--- 

....

Um. Yeah...So....I spent most of my summer napping and watching Netflix and pretty much being lazy. (^-^)

Emma: Is that drool?!?

MOVING ON!!! I wanted to give you guys some ideas of things to do to make your summer count, even if it's a very, very (very), late start. 

1. Spend time with your siblings (or friends)

I decided to be a bit goofy with Sloan- we took selfies for probably half an hour. Then our phones ran out of space. 

(Selfie! (^u^) 

2. Buy some new clothes and supplies for the new school year.

Such as new pants (that aren't yoga pants), a coat, and sticky notes! 

3. Read.

I am so not a reader, but sometimes I'll find a good book. Oddly enough, I loved this historical book. I thought I didn't like historical fiction. (^_^) 

4. Try something new.

I tried skateboarding with Faye-

"Is this safe?"

"Yeah, it's totally fine. I've got you!"

(CRASH!)

"If anyone asks, I was never here..." 

And if all else fails, watch another Netflix episode, take a nap, and try again next time. (Or don't) 

(snoring)

The Truth About Being a Doll Blogger

Hi everyone!

I thought it would be really fun to make a post about what it's like to be a blogger, what I hope a lot of my fellow bloggers can relate to.;) I'm going to be inserting pictures of my dolls so that non-bloggers can enjoy this post, too.;D
 

You can never go anywhere special without bringing something, a doll or a toy, to photograph.

For some, you can't go anywhere at all without a trusty toy in your bag. I am usually like that.;) I went to a house that my oldest sister was house sitting to spend the night, and I made sure I brought a couple of tsums in case their house had a good photographing place.;)

 



You can never look at anything the same way.

Wow, that's a really pretty tree you just passed, with the sun coming through the leaves, I bet that tree is perfect for bokeh... MOM! PULL OVER! I need to get a picture with bokeh!XD

 

You get used to your dolls falling.

And even sometimes, they fall into the best pose, and you get the picture that made getting outside even worth it!

 

Getting up at 5 am to experiment with the sun doesn't seem as crazy as it would have before you started blogging.

I've always wanted to do this, and I have taken pictures really early in the morning, but not as early as I would have liked.;D

 

You never knew it was possible to want to meet someone who lives on the other side of the country as much as you do now.

I'm looking at all of my blogger friends!;D
 

Your mind literally never stops trying to think of new blog post ideas.

"How can I engage my readers? Would everyone like a post like this? What post of mine has the most views and comments and why is it most liked? What has no one done before? How can I change this current event in my life into a photostory?"

It's really quite exhausting.XD

 

Commenting every day all day becomes your new norm.

You also learn how to be positive and look for the best of a post.:D

 

It's awkward to take pictures out in public of your dolls.

Although I've gotten used to this, it's still weird being a fifteen year old taking pics of my dolls. I just try to stay totally and utterly into my photography, so I don't make eye contact or anything.XD
