The Truth About Being a Doll Blogger

Hi everyone!
I thought it would be really fun to make a post about what it's like to be a blogger, what I hope a lot of my fellow bloggers can relate to.;) I'm going to be inserting pictures of my dolls so that non-bloggers can enjoy this post, too.;D

You can never go anywhere special without bringing something, a doll or a toy, to photograph.
For some, you can't go anywhere at all without a trusty toy in your bag. I am usually like that.;) I went to a house that my oldest sister was house sitting to spend the night, and I made sure I brought a couple of tsums in case their house had a good photographing place.;)

You can never look at anything the same way.
Wow, that's a really pretty tree you just passed, with the sun coming through the leaves, I bet that tree is perfect for bokeh... MOM! PULL OVER! I need to get a picture with bokeh!XD

You get used to your dolls falling.
And even sometimes, they fall into the best pose, and you get the picture that made getting outside even worth it!

Getting up at 5 am to experiment with the sun doesn't seem as crazy as it would have before you started blogging.
I've always wanted to do this, and I have taken pictures really early in the morning, but not as early as I would have liked.;D

You never knew it was possible to want to meet someone who lives on the other side of the country as much as you do now.
I'm looking at all of my blogger friends!;D

Your mind literally never stops trying to think of new blog post ideas.
"How can I engage my readers? Would everyone like a post like this? What post of mine has the most views and comments and why is it most liked? What has no one done before? How can I change this current event in my life into a photostory?"
It's really quite exhausting.XD

Commenting every day all day becomes your new norm.
You also learn how to be positive and look for the best of a post.:D

It's awkward to take pictures out in public of your dolls.
Although I've gotten used to this, it's still weird being a fifteen year old taking pics of my dolls. I just try to stay totally and utterly into my photography, so I don't make eye contact or anything.XD

I hope you all liked this post, it was fun to write! Do you agree with any of these? Do you have any other ones to add?:)

Who Wore It Better?

Hi everyone!
Who doesn't like a fun game to play? I am here with the classic "Who Wore It Better?", a game where you decide which doll you think looks better in an outfit. Simple as that!

So who do you think looks better?

Emerson...?
...Or Saige....?

I can't wait to see who will win!:) I will post the winner on the 22nd!:)

Little Spy - A Photoshoot

Hi everyone!
Last week, I got a new phone and so that meant I got a new camera, too. And I love it. I finally got to take pictures outside with it and loved them!:)

I love this picture!:)

Originally, I was going to make this a book inspired photoshoot, since I really liked one of the books I read recently (Valkyrie by Kate O'Hearn), but I didn't have an outfit that fit the character's outfit in the book well and then I decided that Saige looked kind of spy-like so I just took pictures of her like this.;) I'll probably do a book review about that book on my other blog, Drawn to Writing, so if you're interested, keep an eye out!;)
I hope you liked the pictures!:)

Do you feel mysterious/spy-like when you wear all black? If not, what do you feel like?;) I feel evil and like I am in some sort of  "dark" character.XD

Hide-and-Go-Seek Outside - A Photostory

Hi everyone!
I'm really sorry that my posts have been sporadic, but I'm hoping to get better!
Anyway, here's the photostory I mentioned before!:)
Cecile and Saige sat in the living room, bored out of their minds. Everyone in the family was doing something different, and they were alone with nothing to do.
"What do you want to do?" Cecile asked Saige again.
"I have no idea," Saige replied, frowning. "We could go outside, I always get good ideas there."
They agreed and walked outside and onto the lawn, sitting down and thinking. Cecile dug her fingers into the grass and thought on their predicament.
"Hey! We could play hide-and-go-seek! I remember playing that at summer camp last year and it was so fun!" Cecile offered.
"That sounds good!" Saige agreed. They decided on a place where the seeker, in this game, Saige, would count to thirty, and once Saige started counting-
-Cecile sprung away, scanning the yard for a good hiding spot.
"Twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty! Ready or not, here I come!" Saige hollered and opened her eyes.
She scrambled up the wall and looked behind a big jug, but, alas, Cecile wasn't there.
Saige jumped onto the jug to survey the yard. Where would Cecile hide?
"What?" Saige whispered as something ducking caught her attention. She whipped her head to the left and spotted the top of Cecile's black curls.
"I see you!" She yelled, laughing when Cecile moaned playfully.
This time, Cecile would play the part of the seeker. Saige snickered as she split away; she had the perfect spot to hide!
Eagerly, Cecile counted to thirty, then spun around, her eyes darting wildly around the yard for Saige's bright red hair.
Saige wasn't hidden in an open spot, so she snuck away, stealthily tip-toeing to the thick, overgrown bushes that would make an awesome hiding spot.
"AHA!" Cecile shouted when she ripped away a clump of the bush. She sighed as she slumped to the yard again.
Where was that mischievous girl? Cecile thought, an eyebrow raised. She thought about how Saige was determined to become a spy. Of course, she would have a great hiding spot. Cecile just had to find it...
She jumped into the planter and looked around the tree, but Saige was not there.
"Bleah!" Cecile cried. Then she heard it.
A stifled giggle.
Coming from....
Cecile looked up, shielding her eyes from the sun with her hand. Saige stood nestled in the branches, chortling to herself.
"Oh, Saige! If you want to be a spy, you're going to need to learn how to stay quiet," Cecile laughed and climbed the tree.
"It is my one weakness!" Saige shouted dramatically, shaking her fist.
"Don't be so dramatic!" Cecile giggled along with Saige. "It's your turn to seek, come on."
"Oh, um," Saige started, looking embarrassed as she gazed downward. "I'm- uh, stuck..."
"The stealthy spy becomes stuck between tree branches," Cecile narrated through bursts of laughter. Saige turned bright red but laughed, too. Cecile composed herself.
"I'll go get mom."

I hope you liked the story, it's been so long since I've made a photostory, it's sad! Well, bye!:D
