Fever - A Book Inspired Photoshoot

Hi everybody! I just recently finished the book "Fever" by Laurie Halse Anderson. The book is set in the summer of 1793, the year of the start of yellow fever. It is a tale of the ambitious Mattie Cook and her struggles to survive the epidemic.:) I totally recommend the book! I loved it!:) Anyway, I was inspired to dress up Eden like how I imagined Mattie. Here are the pictures-

I wasn't exactly sure what they wore back then, and I didn't feel like researching it, so I just put Eden in Elizabeth's riding outfit, which I think looks great on her!:) 


I love her hair!:) 

I love this picture! Greenery really makes pictures better, for me.:) 









I love this picture so much! I think that it's my favorite in the photoshoot.:)

    I loved the book! But I guess my opinion is biased because I love reading historical fiction :) I think it would be fun to choose a book and dress up a doll that is similar to the character!

    I love Fever!! It is such a good book. I'm glad you liked it too! :-)
    Also, Eden looks fantastic in that outfit. Very 1700s-ish. ;-)

    I loved that book! Man, I forgot all about it. I am now checking it out. Expect a "BLARGH I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW GOOD THIS WAS" comment tomorrow. -_-
