Why Is It Still Not Cold? - A Photostory about the question I ask myself daily

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the silly title. But I thought it fit my mood.;)

The whole day I have been procrastinating and putting off writing in my stories. Siiiighh...So this is a product of my procrastination! A PHOTOSTORY!

*oohs*

*ahhhhs*

Jess walked into the living room, coming home from shopping. She entered through the door and stopped in her tracks. The scene in front of her was confusing and chaotic....and made no sense. 

Bodies, that looked to be unconscious,  were scattered heavily on the ground, chairs, and even the tables. Jess spotted Sloan, Logan, and some other random family members. And there was Caroline in the midst of them, sitting in a chair unconscerned, writing.

 

(That's right, Caroline! You WRITE, maybe I can get some of your productivity!;))

Eyes wide, Jess opened her mouth, but no words came out. Only a tiny squeak. 

Caroline looked up, shaking her head. "I have no idea." 

Jess set her bag on a stool and looked at her brother and sisters.

"What's going on, Adam?" She demanded. 

Adam popped his head up and Jess gazed at him.

"We are all upset that it's not cold!" He explained.

"But why are you doing this-" Jess gestured to them lying around the room, "then?" 

Now it was Faye's turn to jump up and answer Jess's questions.

"Because! It's OCTOBER and yet it's a hundred degrees out there!" Faye pointed to the window, "We all wish there was some way to fix the weather, so we don't know what we even can do. So...doing this-" Faye swept her hand across the living room, "-is all we can do!" 

Jess squeezed her eyes shut and thought. What could make them feel like it's truly fall? She racked her brain for an answer and bit her lip. 

Everyone had heard their conversation and now perked up, curious about what Jess's idea could be. Except for Aurora, who had actually fallen asleep.

"I've got it! We should decorate for fall!" Jess cried. The walls had been bare all last year for fall and Jess had wanted to decorate for fall this year anyway. It would be perfect! 

"That sounds awesome!" Caroline replied, standing up and setting her writing things to the side (NO! IT'S A TRAP!XD XD XD), "I've never decorated for fall before!" 

"Then it's settled! We'll decorate tonight!" Jess declared and the group erupted in cheers.

So they are going to decorate! I really want to decorate for fall soon, it does help with my excitement for fall to come!:D

Pirate Patch - A Photostory

Hi everyone!

I have a surprise! I'm so excited to show you all!!!:D

In Faye's POV-

I rushed out to the living room, skateboard in hand, I was planning to go to the skatepark with some friends. I ran into Adam, who looked like he was trying to find something.

"Hailey! Have you seen my eye patch?" Adam asked, his eyes wide. I grimaced.

"No, I haven't seen it, and it's me, Faye."

He nodded his head and continued searching for his eye patch. 

I hurried past, not wanting to hear anymore of his pirate accessories. My eyes fixed on the ground, I ripped the front door open.

I wasn't looking where I was going and ran right into a girl who was about to knock on our door. 

She staggered backwards and I reached out to steady her, but ended hitting my jaw with my skateboard. I dropped my skateboard and grabbed her wrist before she fell. 

"I'm sorry!" I apologized. She smiled and shook her head.

"Hey," She grinned. 

My eyes wandered to her bare feet.

"You don't have any shoes! Are you a hobo?" I gasped. 

She laughed, "No, I'm not a hobo! My shoes are in my backpack. I'm Caroline, I heard that I'm staying here."

"Oh, okay, I'm Faye," I looked back, trying to spot Adam. I saw him looking beneath a chair, "Hey, Adam! Come here and meet Caroline!"

He stumbled toward us then glared at me.

"Are you suurrreeee that you don't know where it is?" Adam questioned. 

Caroline squinted her eyes and gazed at us quizzically, "What is 'it.'" 

"His pirate eye patch," I explained nonchalantly.

"PETER PIPER!!!" Adam shouted randomly, "Anyway, let me help you with your backpack." 

Adam began taking off her backpack.

"Oh, uh, you know, you-" Caroline stammered. Adam fell to the ground from the weight of her backpack.

"What are you keeping in here?" He grunted. 

"It has all of my writing stuff in it. That's why it's so heavy," Caroline explained.

"I'll take it inside," He shuffled back inside. 

"Well, I can't wait to get to know you better, Caroline! Come on inside!" I smiled and Caroline followed me inside the house.
